When a JJ&J franchise is purchased, you become a member of our family. We continue to consult on issues that come up for the term of your franchise agreement. Our corporate staff is in place to provide you the assistance that you require. |

How much is the continuing royalty fee? |

We will not be charging our franchisees any royalties. NO ROYALTIES! (Except for Broward and Palm Beach Counties, FL where franchisees pay 2.4% royalties). |

Is there an advertising fee? |

Yes. Prior to opening $5,000 is allocated for initial local advertising in conjunction with your Business's grand opening. In addition, there is up to 2% of your gross sales for local advertising. |

What is the anticipated total investment to open my own Jumpin’ Juice & Java? |

A: |
Each location will have it’s own unique characteristics and requirements and there are a variety of options available for a good location. That being said, typically the total cost to open a location will run from $150,000 to $300,000, including the franchise fees. |

What is the ideal size shop for a Jumpin’ Juice & Java? |

A: |
Locations can vary from a self-contained mobile cart to a stand-alone store front on a busy intersection. Your target location, which will enable you to have adequate seating and work space, will be between 1,000 sq. ft. to 1,700 sq. ft. |

We travel to your store to train you in the environment you will be working in. Our training program is an important aspect of our development team’s responsibilities and the only way we can be sure to achieve our high standards of quality consistently, from location to location. |

How long does it take to open a Jumpin’ Juice & Java? |

Once a lease has been signed, it typically takes between 60 – 90 days before you can open the doors for business. |

Will Jumpin' Juice & Java help me with design and layout? |

Yes. We have designed dozens of locations and have the experience to create a warm and inviting environment for your customers and at the same time providing the business owner an efficient workspace design. |

While small business experience is helpful, it is not required. |

Am I required to run the day-to-day operations of my shop? |

A: |
You are not required to run your store; however, the most successful stores are those operated by the owner(s) or an experienced retail manager. |

Where do I purchase the products sold in my JJ&J location? |

A: |
To insure quality, consistency and uniformity for all our locations, all coffee is purchased from our designated roaster. These products are proprietary and have been exclusively developed for Jumpin’ Juice & Java. All other products are purchased from “Approved Suppliers” in accordance with Jumpin’ Juice & Java’s standards and specifications. |

I see on your online menu a wonderful selection of beverage items, will I be allowed to offer additional items such as food? |

Absolutely! All our locations offer a light breakfast menu with items such as scones, muffins, bagels and breakfast burritos. Some shops are offering simple meal items like sandwiches, paninis, soups and salads. |

Will I have an inventory management system? |

Yes. Jumpin’ Juice & Java’s easy to use Point of Sale (POS) system is specifically designed for a retail food and beverage establishment. It will assist each owner in the tracking of costs, maintaining inventory, loyalty card programs, reporting and more. |

Does my franchise have a protected territory? |

A: |
Yes. No other franchise or company owned store will be permitted to open in your defined territory. Territories will be defined once a location is secured. |

Can I sell my Jumpin’ Juice & Java store and transfer my franchise? |

A: |
Yes. You can sell your store and transfer your franchise with our prior consent. A transfer fee will be applicable. |

Will Jumpin’ Juice & Java help me secure financing? |

A: |
Yes. We have experience helping people get loans. When you purchase a franchise, we will give you sample business plans you can use. Any bank or lending institution will require a business plan before they approve your loan request. |

How much money can I expect to make? |

Jumpin’ Juice & Java does not predict sales or profits for any location. Profitability is based on so many variables such as location, visibility, traffic flow, area demographics and the individual owners ability to manage the day-to-day operations and finances, that an accurate estimate is impossible. |
